- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- After going 90 minutes without a goal on Saturday the Linnets took just five minutes to score the opener.
- Skipper Michael Clunan found the head of Rory McAuley to head home the opener.
- Three minutes later the visitors doubled their lead when a wicked deflection rattled the bar before dropping for Ross Barrows to fire home.
- In a frantic opening Jordan Cullinane-Liburd could have pulled a goal
- back on 10 minutes when a corner dropped to him, but his stabbed effort was saved.
- Adam Marriott had an unlikely chance to put his side out of sight when he latched onto a header back by Cullinane-Liburd to Hall but put his effort wide.
- The Bulls thought they deserved a penalty before the break when O'Sullivan's free-kick looked to hit a King's Lynn hand.
- However, referee Daniel Lamport waved away the appeals.
- On at the break Jordan Nicholson had an immediate impact and saw his low shot tipped wide by goalkeeper Alex Street.
- Street was the hero moments later when Peter Vicenti was awarded a penalty for a push before getting up and seeing his penalty well saved.
- Street was back in action to deny Vincenti's powerful header before the rebound was cleared off the line.
- Ross Barrows came within an inch of putting the tie beyond any doubt, but saw his header at the front post smash against the post.
- With four minutes left on the clock the Linnets scored a third with Ryan Hawkins seeing his effort palmed into the path of Sonny Carey to fire home.
- As Hereford's heads went down Hawkins beat O'Sullivan again and then rifled his effort off the post.
- Sonny Carey could have added further misery after sauntering into the box he rounded the goalkeeper before Jordan Cullinane-Liburd blocked off the line.
