ELEVEN golds and seven silver medals were the total obtained by Hereford swimmer Oliver Jones at the recent Worcester County Championships
Jones led the way for Ledbury and Malvern Swim Club who claimed a total of 57 medals from the meeting.
Jones, who also swims with Pershore SC, qualified for all 18 events which were held over five days.
Along with his medal haul Jones came away with nine junior county titles, a third place and a second place in the senior championships.
Jones also set junior county records in the 100m breaststroke (1:08.18) and 50m breaststroke (31.60).
He has qualified for all events possible at the West Midland Regional Championships later this year.
Jones would like to thank his coaches Duncan Loraine and Rob Young at Ledbury and Tom Naughton and the coaching team at Pershore SC for all of their time and efforts.
He would also like to thank Beryl and John Trust at Hereford for their continued support.
