- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- It was Woking who had the game's opening chance when defender Moussa Diarra met a floated cross but headed wide.
- Diarra then made a key block at the other end to deny Hereford a certain goal after Michael Bakare had opened up the defence.
- Bakare created the opening goal on 22 minutes unlocking the defence before finding the header of Joey Butlin who guided his header home.
- Hereford went close again five minutes later with Chris Camwell's pin-point cross being put behind his own goal by Ben Gerring.
- At the other end a one-two released Sam Ashford whose low effort was saved by Brandon Hall.
- Luke Haines was next to save the Bulls as a free-kick dropped down inside the box and looked destined to hit the net, but the loanee cleared.
- Hereford quickly broke on the counter-attack but Bakare saw his low effort saved by Craig Ross.
- Ross kept his side in the tie on the 50th minute with a one-handed save to deny Jamie Grimes' close-range header.
- Woking did have the ball in the back of the net on 58 minutes after Diara won the initial header but Ashford was judged to be off-side when netting.
- On the hour Hereford had three big chances to seal the tie.
- Firstly Chris Camwell saw his effort fly narrowly wide under pressure by the goalkeeper.
- Moments later Bakare opened up the defence and saw his deflected effort loop up to Lewis Butroid who fired wide with the goal at his mercy.
- Tom Owen-Evans was next to go close but he too was denied by a Ross save before Kyle Finn drilled the rebound wide.
- With seven minutes remaining Butlin had a golden chance to seal the win beating the off-side trap and through on goal.
- However, his heavy touch allowed goalkeeper Ross to collect.
