A PAIR of Hereford sisters were left disappointed after their Olympic Games dream was ended.
Mathilda and Charlotte Hodgkins-Byrne were part of Great Britain's women’s quad alongside Lucy Glover and Hannah Scott and sisters
After finishing third in Friday's heat the team had hoped to qualify for the final through the repechage.

Despite having some issues at the start the quartet were in a three-way battle by the half-way mark.
However, Australia moved away to win with Great Britain finishing fourth.
The quartet will now feature in Wednesday's 'B final' with a seventh place finish overall their best hope.
“I’m pretty gutted. That wasn’t the result we wanted,” said team member Hannah Scott speaking to British Rowing.
“It’s not that I don’t think we had it in us. We just had a few hiccups at the start.
"At the Olympics there are seconds in it and you can’t afford to make a mistake. Unfortunately ours came at the wrong time.
“It’s hard to accept right now. For me it’s not about going to the Olympics but about performing and for me we didn’t perform today.
"With the year we’ve had with the Covid-19 pandemic, maybe it’s an achievement to get here in the first place but I can’t really see it right now.”
