HEREFORD Pegasus have re-named their ground the KGD Stadium and gave their sponsors on the pitch a treat with a seven-goal performance.
KGD, based at Rotherwas, and the late Ken Davies have sponsored the club for several years due to the opportunities for youth football that Pegasus provide.
Directors Brian Davies, Rita Wilson and Ed Pitt were on hand at the renaming of Old School Lane to the KGD Stadium.
"They have always supported the club due to the amount of work we do with our young players," said Pegasus chief executive Kevin Bishop.
Watched by their sponsors Hereford Pegasus completed a 7-0 victory over Clanfield with Kyle Panniers scoring a hat-trick of penalties.
Matthew James, Cawley Cox and Saul Thomas added further goals in the demolition.
"It was one of those games where everything went right," added Bishop.
"We played football all around them and it was a really good performance.
"It was great that our sponsors were treated to that."
One team will be automatically promoted from the Hellenic League Division One this season.
The next four sides will feature in the play-offs battling for the remaining one promotion place.
This weekend they welcome a Milton United side which features former Hereford FC player Pablo Haysham.
It was a good weekend for the KGD Stadium sides as Hereford Pegasus Ladies recorded a 16-0 win over Inkberrow Eagles Ladies on Sunday.
Roxana Dinescu led the way scoring five goals while Amy Bradley netted four goals.
Emily Morgan continued the scoring with a hat-trick while substitute Heather Martin scored a brace.
Further goals came courtesy of Iois Miller and Olivia Jenkins.
