THE Herefordshire FA have entered a two-year partnership with an internet provider which will provide welcome funds for grassroots football.
The Herefordshire FA and Zzoomm, Hereford’s leading Full Fibre broadband network provider, have announce details of a major new partnership.
Zzoomm will become lead partner for both the Herefordshire Football League and the Herefordshire FA County Cups and will also be providing the opportunity for eligible Clubs to access discounted ultra-fast broadband packages, as well as earn money from referrals.
Alan Darfi, Herefordshire FA CEO said: ‘’It is fantastic to be able to announce this exciting new partnership, which is set to benefit the Herefordshire football family in a number of ways.
“From the very first meeting with Zzoomm, we were blown away both by their passion for and desire to support the local community. Zzoomm has invested significant funds into local grassroots football through this partnership and we are really looking forward to working with the organisation over the next few years and beyond.’’
Simon Gray, Zzoomm’s head of marketing added: “We’re delighted to work with Alan and the HFA team in this new partnership, we’ve been really impressed with the work that they do in the community.
“Zzoomm have invested £23million to build a brand-new, gigafast full fibre broadband network in Hereford; establishing this beautiful city as one of the fastest, gigabit enabled cities in the world. It’s fantastic that we can continue supporting the local community via grassroots football and other community-led initiatives.”
The Herefordshire Football League will become the Zzoomm Herefordshire Football League immediately and for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. The Herefordshire County Cups will become the Zzoomm Herefordshire County Cups for both seasons.
