WESTFIELDS have signed for Hereford defender Ryan Green with the 42-year-old training with the squad ahead of pre-season.
The former Wolves and Bristol Rovers defender played over 100 games for Hereford United and then another century of matches for Hereford FC.
After taking a break from football with Hereford FC in 2018 the defender has previously played for Westfields.
Westfields boss Phil Glover said: “To say I’m delighted that we have re-signed Greener is an understatement.
“What a player and even better what a guy. He trained fully today (Saturday) with all the lads and was like a Rolls-Royce, his fitness levels are very high as always.
“He loves playing football and given everybody a big boost. His presence alone raises standards. We believe his experience and quality will be massive for us this season.”
Meanwhile, central defender Joe Davies has left Fields and signed for non-league step-four side Malvern Town who were promoted from the Hellenic Premier last season.
Fields begin their pre-season games next Tuesday (July 4) when they head to Cwmbran Celtic.
