WESTFIELDS have agreed a new three-year deal with Hereford insurance brokers CJ Insurance of St Nicholas Street.
They will be Westfields’ official main sponsor with new home and away first team kits, perimeter advertising boards and internal clubhouse signage in addition to match day programme advertising.
“The sponsorship with CJ Insurance as Westfields main official club sponsorship is a wonderful package for both parties and we will promote CJ Insurance in a number of ways,” said Westfields chief executive Andy Morris.
“The deal ties in with CJ Insurance moving to their new premises as they have purchased Greyfriars Surgery on the Greyfriars Bridge and our sponsorship is a way of assisting them in promoting their move to larger business premises.
“‘To have a three-year deal gives both parties time to plan for the future and we are so grateful to James Clark and Gavin Smith who are both supportive to Westfields from CJ Insurance for this opportunity in helping us with long term financial commitment.”
Westfields opened up their home pre-season friendlies with a narrow 1-0 defeat at allpay.park when visiting Alvechurch from the Southern League Premier Division scored in the last seconds.
Fields had picked up four victories away from home in their warm-up programme and had defended well until Shay Willock ghosted in to snatch a dramatic 93rd minute winner.
Phil Glover’s side also had goalscoring opportunities with both Harrison Summers and Harry Pitman going close.
Fields now play in the HFA Invitation Trophy Final on Thursday at allpay.park (kick-off 7-45pm) when Welsh Premier Division side Cardiff Met are the visitors.
On Saturday Westfields are also at home to Boldmere St Michaels (kick-off 3pm) in another pre-season friendly.
