HEREFORD PEGASUS were guilty of missing their opportunities as Highworth Town came from behind to take a 3-1 victory.
After making the trip to Swindon the visitors started brightly and broke the deadlock on eight minutes.
A clever pass between defenders by Zac Johnstone found Josh Hunt inside the penalty area who beat the goalkeeper.
Hunt could have had a second goal after seizing on a mistake by the Town defenders, but his shot hit the base of the upright and was cleared to safety.
On the 33 minutes the hosts levelled against run of play, when Steve Robertson scored from close range.
Two minutes later Highworth gained the lead when a Josh Davis shot was cleared off the line by Kyle Panniers, but Sol Pryce was first to react and scored,
On the hour mark Pegasus looked to respond and Cawley Cox made a strong run before his shot flew inches past far post.
Minutes later, Zach Powell played a diagonal ball to Cox who found the side-netting.
With five minutes of normal time remaining Saul Thomas came close to equalsing, but fired high over the crossbar following good work by Carlos Moreira.
Little had been seen of the home attacking players until the seventh minute of additional time when Josh Davis broke clear and ended the contest.
