HEREFORD Pegasus made it eight matches unbeaten with a hard fought 2-2 draw at Mangotsfield.
Pegasus opened the scoring on 11 minutes as Jordan Williamson beat his marker before crossing the ball from the goal line to the near post where Nathan Chowns-Higgs beat steered the ball into the net past keeper Dominic Oakes.
Sixteen minutes later Kyrese Morrison pulled his shot wide off the post, but the referee awarded a penalty kick, claiming Lewis Fletcher impeded the striker as he shot and Jayden Crosbie scored from the penalty kick.
In stoppage time of the first period Williamson cut inside forcing a good save from Oakes.
In the 68th minute Mangotsfield gained the lead, Jack Nunn shot from the edge of the penalty area and his shot took a deflection wrong footing goalkeeper Matt Gwynne.
However, Williamson levelled for the visitors with right minutes remaining when his free kick beat Oakes at the near post.
With the final whistle imminent, the visitors survived when Gwynne brilliantly saved a strong shot from Crosbie, the rebound was blocked by Frank Pemberton onto the crossbar.
On Saturday, Pegasus return to the KGD Stadium when they entertain Roman Glass St George.
