WESTFIELDS came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw at Tuffley Rovers on Tuesday night but were left reflecting on missed chances.

The hosts who sit a position behind Fields raced into a 2-0 lead inside the opening 18 minutes.

However, a solo goal from Daniel Stoneman gave the visitors hope and then Nathan Davies saw his lobbed effort pushed over the bar.

Fields had chances to equalise before Harrison Summers netted in the 67th minute to make it 2-2.

Moments later Zac Powell went through on goal only for the keeper to save as the points were shared.

Westfields recorded a 13th win of their Hellenic Premier campaign with a 3-0 victory over Lydney Town on Saturday at allpay.park.

Scott Russell’s side took just 17 minutes to open the scoring when dangerman Dan Stoneman got free to beat the advancing keeper with a lobbed effort.
 

Fields increased their lead in the 35th minute when Stoneman found leading goal scorer Ollie Barnes who headed home at the far post.
 

Russell’s side made the points safe with a third goal in the 86th minute when Barnes went through on goal and his shot was handled before making no mistake from the penalty spot to earn three valuable points

In their final home game of the season Hereford Pegasus suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Hellenic Premier league leaders and FA Vase semi-finalists Worcester City at the KGD Stadium.

There was little to choose between the two sides although, the visitors hit the frame of the goal twice in the first 15 minutes and were denied by a brave save by Matt Gwynne.

On the stroke of half-time the dangerous Liam Lockett found space before spreading the ball to Elliot Hartley who scored by guiding the ball into the far corner of the goal.

Pegasus equalised in 66th minute when Cawley Cox fired home following a fine move from the hosts.

However, three minutes later Kyle Belmonte converted a controversial penalty to seal the points.

Hereford Lads Club suffered a 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Pershore Town with Sam Griffiths and Isaac Powell netting for the County Ground side.
