THREE athletes from Hereford and County Athletics Club came away with a clean sweep of medals from the Hereford and Worcestershire Schools’ Combined Events competition in Stourport recently.
Romerleigh Parker (John Kyrle) placed first for the third year in a row. Meanwhile, Esme Benjamin (Hereford Cathedral School) placed second and Maisie Wood (Whitecross School) secured third.
The multi-event competition included a number of track and field events (80m hurdles, shot put, the long jump, 200m sprint and the high jump).
All three girls have been selected to represent Hereford and Worcestershire Schools at the Midlands Championships next month.
