HEREFORD FC have sold over 1,000 season tickets for next season with over two months remaining until the first league match.
Meanwhile, the club has raised £40,000 so far through their Squad Builder initiative with £20,000 coming from fans – matched by the founding shareholders.
“For supporters to have raised over £20,000 in just two weeks is incredible, particularly when you consider that season tickets are on sale and our new membership scheme has also been launched,” Hereford FC chairman Chris Ammonds told the club’s website.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to echo the words shared by our manager, Paul Caddis, in his video message last week and simply say ‘thank you’ to you all and that your support is truly appreciated by everyone at the club. I’d also like to thank the Founding Shareholders for making a donation to match the total by supporters so far.
“While the money raised is already brilliant, it would be absolutely fantastic to smash past last season’s final Squad Builder total of around £60,000 and provide even more support for our manager as he looks to build a competitive squad for the 2024/25 season.”
The Bulls have announced that their first pre-season friendly will take place on Saturday, July 6.
Hereford will take the trip to Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday, July 16. They will then head to Stourbridge on Thursday, July 25 and Halesowen Town two days later.
