HEREFORD boss Paul Caddis is set to question an FA refereeing group over the decision to deny his side the opening goal in their goalless draw against King’s Lynn Town.
Lawson D’Ath’s free-kick three minutes from time looped over everybody inside the box before bouncing and then nestling into the net.
However, the linesman flagged for an off-side resulting in the refereeing disallowing the goal as the game ended 0-0.
After the match Caddis said that he would need to watch the game back before forming an opinion on the decision.
However, writing for the club’s website on Monday the Bulls’ manager said: “As the manager of your club who shares your frustrations from Saturday, I can confirm I will be speaking to the FA refereeing group for an explanation of the decision to rule out our goal on Saturday.
“I want to make it clear this will be a very respectful conversation and not a direct complaint.
“We all make mistakes in life and the official made a call he saw as correct at the time and on reflection he may have chosen another option.
