HEREFORD could remain without some of their stars for several weeks as their injury problems have been revealed.

However, boss Paul Caddis says that he will not ‘rush’ or ‘waste money’ in bringing replacements in.

Speaking after the club’s goalless draw against King’s Lynn Town the boss said that he currently has 16 players available, but some of those are carrying minor injuries.

However, with a trip to play Bishop’s Stortford in the FA Cup third round qualifying this weekend it could be hard to tempt players in on loan, as they would then become cup tied.

“We are now at 16 players available and rest assured we do have room to bring some bodies in,” said Caddis

“I don’t rush and waste money nor will we bend over backwards to promise clubs that players are guaranteed starts.”

Providing an update on the players currently out injured the Bulls’ manager said that Aaron Skinner has a ‘possible’ fracture in the ankle.

The club are currently awaiting further tests to see if surgery is required and are expecting him to be out for a ‘minimum of four weeks’.

Alex Babos will have a scan when his swelling his reduced following an ‘awkward impact fall’ in Hereford’s win last week at Ilkeston. No time has been given on his return.

The club ‘fear’ that young winger Preston Bitemo has suffered a stress fracture and he will be scanned this week, he could be out for 11 weeks.

Meanwhile, Jason Cowley suffered a setback after returning to training last week and is suffering from a ‘constant dull ache at the end of range in his ankle’. The marksman is set to be scanned again and will see a specialist.
