HEREFORD boss Paul Caddis is looking to add further players to his side after being hit by another injury.
Defender Sammy Robinson limped off in their 3-0 win against Farsley Celtic on Saturday and could be out for six weeks.
The blow has been softened slightly as Robinson was due to start a suspension after being sent off against Warrington last week.
Fellow defender Matt Preston also limped off in the match, but Caddis hopes his injury is less serious.
Hereford’s injury list already includes long-tern absentees Jason Cowley and Aaron Skinner.
“Sammy (Robinson), the early indication is that we think that he’s pulled his quad which is disappointing, probably be six weeks,” said Caddis.
“You can look at that and say two of them are free weeks anyway as he’s suspended, but we’re obviously disappointed.
“Matt (Preston) just used his experience, he felt a little bit of discomfort in his groin, whether that’s something more, we will probably know better on Tuesday when we assess him.
“We’re hoping that he’s caught it in time. He could have played on, but we were 3-0 up at the time and wanted to be careful.
“We’re going to need more bodies, we’re starting to get a little short so we’re going to have to get more bodies.”
Meanwhile, Caddis hopes to extended the loan stay of fellow defender Ryan Bartley after being impressed by the 20-year-old.
“We’ve spoken to Derby and we’re trying to get something sorted with Ryan (Bartley) as he has been excellent,” added Caddis.
“He’s played right of the three, right centre back and right wing-back and he’s been equally as excellent in all three.
“He’s mature, he’s powerful, a brilliant kid and he takes information on board. He’s one that we’re definitely trying to extended.”
