RADNOR Valley built on last weekend's resounding victory over Chirk AAA to defeat Llansantffraid Village 4-0 to move three points further away from the Lock Stock Ardal North East relegation zone after Goats talisman Joey Price netted four times at The Bypass.

The hosts broke the deadlock after 19 minutes when Price netted from a trademark free-kick that nestled in the far corner of the net.

The New Radnor club had to wait until two minutes after the interval to double their lead when Price was played through on goal by half-time substitute Geraint Lloyd before composing himself to slide the ball past Dave Jones in the Saints' goal.

The Goats scored a third goal in the 50th minute with Price completing his treble with a goal that was virtually identical to his second of the afternoon after being set-up by Matt Croose on this occasion.

The scoring was completed in the 74th minute when Rees Morris broke into the penalty area and his low cross to the far post was converted at the far post.

Llansantffraid Village were reduced to ten players in the 85th minute when substitute Aled Jones showed a red card by his namesake for pulling back substitute Geraint Lloyd, who was bursting towards the penalty area.

The Goats were within inches of going nap when Price thundered the subsequent free-kick against the woodwork before Tom Edwards placed the rebound wide of a virtual open goal from a mater of only a few feet.

Radnor Valley will be looking the build upon back-to-back league victories when they host Llangollen Town in the Lock Stock Ardal Northern League Cup.

Despite the wet conditions over the weekend several teams were able to get their Herefordshire League matches on.

Jack Harding scored a brace for Hereford Pegasus Colts as they ran out 4-1 winners against Ewyas Harold, with David Solway and Morgan Turner also netting for Peggy.

Meanwhile, Holme Lacy went goal crazy in their Ross Cup tie at Ross Juniors Colts, running out 8-3 victors.

Harry Simpson scored four, while Connor Sheehan, Joel Price, Aaron Finch and Liam Campbell were all on the goal sheet.

In the other Ross Cup tie braces from Jesse Strangwood and Harry Bowen saw Leominster Town beat Wellington Reserves 4-3 in a close encounter.
