HEREFORD United boss Graham Turner has been named League 2 manager of the year by the League Managers' Association.

Turner picked up the award at a presentation ceremony in Nottingham yesterday evening.

The Bulls chief collected the prize despite not being the manager of the championship-winning team.

Paul Ince, manager of champions MK Dons, had to give best to the United boss on this occaion while in the other divisions, championship-winning managers Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United), Tony Mowbray (West Bromwich Albion) and Roberto Martinez (Swansea City) took the awards.
