AUDREY Marfell and Clarkson Barclay carded 36 stableford points to win, on a countback, Ross-on-Wye’s Rose Bowl mixed pairs foursomes.
Jan Armstrong and Terry Watts also finished on 36 points but had to settle for the runners-up spot.
Armstrong bounced back two days later after carding 42 points to win the Ross Ladies’ Spring meeting.
Burghill Valley’s Eleana Ivall triumphed in the Droitwich Girls’ Open in a field of 86 competitors.
She achieved the best nett in the event, which was a Daily Telegraph qualifier.
Eleana, who is 14 years old, lives at Risbury, near Leominster and is a pupil at Minster College.
Jane and John Fellows triumphed in Burghill Valley’s mixed pairs’ open with 39 points.
Linda and Ray Bayliss, from Burghill, were second with 37 points.
Marion and Mike Phillips, from Llandrindod Wells, took third place with 36 points.
The best gross score, of 28, was achieved by Joan Dukes and Paul Moses, from Burghill.
Doug Rickards, from the Herefordshire, won the nearest the pin award on the 14th hole.
Captain Christine Anning teamed up with Lesley Turbutt to clinch the Coronation Foursomes at Hereford Municipal.
They returned a winning total of 33 points and will go to the regional finals at Dewstow GC.
Averil Magee and Jean Crum finished runners-up with 29 points and are the qualifier reserves.
Turbutt also qualified for the NAPGC English Ladies’ Championship at Abottsley GC.
She finished the runner-up - six shots adrift of Silver Division winner Sharon Helps, who shot a nett 2 over par qualifying round.
Anning joins the duo after she won the Bronze Division qualifier.
Helps and Turbutt rounded off a great week when they also qualified for the NAPGC UK Championship regional finals at Thornbury GC.
Lynn Granger and Anning also go to Thornbury with hopes of progressing to the UK finals at St Andrews in September.
Leominster’s Liz and Nigel Moore totalled 35 points and have qualified for the next round of the Bader Cup.
Chris Anning and Chris Privett were second, while Lesley Turbutt and Mike Privett took third place. Liz and Nigel Moore also won the Greensome Accumulator.
Result: 1 Liz and Nigel Moore 130, 2 Wendy and Mark Lane 129, =3 Gillian and Greg Bridges and Carol Gardner and Mike Storr 127.
Bridgette Halpern fired 94-27-67 to take top spot in the LGU medal at The Grove.
Joy Holman took second spot with 104-36-68.
The Grove secured a 4-0 win over Kington in a friendly.
Janet Pennell and Enid Crowe took the honours in Kington’s Jean Jones competition.
The duo’s 33-point haul put them one point ahead of second-placed Gill Lloyd and Priscilla Scott.
Jane Burgoyne and Joan Morgan took third spot with 31 points.
Gill Lloyd won the Silver Division of the club’s May Medal after firing 93-20-73.
Philippa Frost (91-18-73) was second, while Claire Burton (92-18-74) was third.
Marion Weaver was first in the Bronze Division with 96-27-69, while Enid Crowe (102-28-74) was second and Ted Godbert (98-21-77), third.
Kington’s Seniors recorded a five games to one home win over Summerhill GC in a friendly.
Pat Watkins and April Whetton won Sapey’s Betterball Stableford after carding 38 points.
Kate Hamilton and Maria Johnson secured second spot with 34 points.
Lynn McCoy came out on top in Division 1 of the LGU EF medal with 68 points.
Carol Moore (78 points) won Division 2, while Alice Timmis (78 points) won Division 3.
