FORMER champions Builth Wells romped to their third straight win with an eight-wicket success at Ledbury in the GB Liners Marches League Division 1.
The 1994 champions made light work of overcoming Ledbury after Rob Wall took 4-6 in helping to dismiss the newly-promoted club for 67.
Veteran Gerald Morgan (32) and Sam Buckler (13) swept Builth to the target in the 14th over.
Luctonians secured their first win since re-joining the league with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Bartestree & Lugwardine at Kingsland.
Russell Barnett top scored with 46 for Bartestree who were bowled out for 150 by a Luctonians attack spearheaded by James Platford (3-18) and Paul Davies (3-27).
James Platford capped a superb all-round display with an unbeaten 75 as Luctonians coasted to the target in 30.1 overs.
Herefordians recorded a five-wicket win over rivals Hereford City in a Division 2 clash at the Racecourse.
Rob Pendleton (4-31) and Ben Mason (3-15) helped to restrict Hereford City to 161-9, despite Paul Allam’s undefeated 55.
Mason struck an unbeaten 72 not out and, backed up by Pendleton (22), Herefordians achieved victory in 32 overs.
Kington 4th stalwart Kevin Gwynne struck a maiden league century in his club’s six-wicket win over Ross 3rd in Division 5.
Steve Earl (100 not out) took centre stage when Ross batted with a fine century in the South Herefordshire side’s 222-9.
But the match belonged to Gwynne who slammed four sixes and 13 fours in his 106 for Kington.
Gwynne shared a third-wicket stand of 102 with Nico Evans (48) as Kington registered their first win of the campaign with more than 13 overs to spare.
Chris Gallagher returned figures of 7-12 to fire Lads Club 2nd to a 109-run victory over Strollers 2nd at Widemarsh Common in Division 5.
James Hancock hit 57 not out in Lads Club’s 164-5 and then Gallagher struck to bowl out Strollers for 55.
