THE results of the Wembley play-off finals have now completed the League 1 line-up for next season.

And Hereford United’s final two opponents have been decided as Stockport County, who defeated Rochdale in the League 2 final, and Leeds United, who were beaten 1-0 by Doncaster Rovers in the League 1 final.

United’s director of football Graham Turner was pleased that Leeds, who are still considered among the country’s most prominent clubs, would be visiting Edgar Street next season.

“Leeds are a big club and it keeps a high profile team in this division,” he said.

United knocked Leeds out of the FA Cup last season at Elland Road in a first-round replay.

Turner acted as an expert summariser for BBC Radio Five Live at the League 2 final.

“I enjoyed the game but Stockport were the better side and deserved to win,” he said.

The full line-up of League 1 clubs for 2008/9 is: Brighton & Hove Albion, Bristol Rovers, Carlisle United, Cheltenham Town, Colchester United, Crewe Alexandra, Hartlepool United, Hereford United, Huddersfield Town, Leeds United, Leicester City, Leyton Orient, Millwall, Milton Keynes Dons, Northampton Town, Oldham Athletic, Peterborough United, Scunthorpe United, Southend United, Stockport County, Swindon Town, Tranmere Rovers, Walsall and Yeovil Town.

Turner is still adding to his pre-season programme and the Bulls will now entertain Bristol City on July 22 - the home match against Southampton, which had previously been notified as being on that date will actually take place on July 29.

“We are aiming to fix up a Saturday game for July 26 and have also to fix a date to visit Ledbury Town,” said Turner.

Other games already fixed are a trip to Kidderminster on July 14 with attractive visits from Wolverhampton Wanderers (July 16) and West Bromwich Albion (August 1).

In terms of his playing squad, Turner has little to report.

“There is no progress at the moment but there is plenty of talking going on,” he said.

The Bulls boss has, however, tabled two bids for players.

“One has been rejected out of hand but we are still talking about the other one,” said Turner.
