JOAN Malim triumphed in the Silver Division of the May LGU Medal at Ross-on-Wye.
Malim also achieved the lowest gross with a score of 81, nett 67.
Jan Armstrong was the runner-up with a score of 89, nett 69, while Erica Atkins was third with 87, nett 73.
Liz Chick was successful in the Bronze Division and held off stiff competition from second-placed Anne McArthur and third-placed Lorraine Shepherd.
Vicki Flowers fired 75 points to carry off the Vets Millennium Trophy from Jill Oates (79) and third-placed Dinah Johnston (79).
Joan Kirk won the Bronze Division on a countback from Celia Gibbs after both players carded 79 points.
Maureen Turner was third with 84 points.
Erica Atkins took first place in the Lady Captain’s away day at St Mellons GC.
Sue Tamblyn secured second spot, with Amanda Marshall finishing third.
Kat Edwards won the longest drive award, and Kay Cotton won the accolade for being nearest the pin on the par three holes.
Lady captain Hilary Parrott also presented prizes to the nine ladies who achieved birdies.
Ross member Helen Palmer represented Gloucestershire ladies at a County competition in Dorset against Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
Palmer and Jose Wilson also played in the Coronation Medals at Cotswold Hill where Wilson was the runner-up in the Bronze Division with a score of 103, nett 77.
Gillian Sandell, Richard Francis, Kevin Dorn and Mike Rusling carded 41 points to win the Three Men and a Lady competition at Leominster GC.
Wendy and Mark Lane, Pete and Julian Morris secured the runners-up spot with 39 points.
Averil Magee notched 32 points to win Ladies Cup in the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Haemophilia Unit event at Hereford Municipal GC.
Magee, who finished sixth overall in the main event, pipped Pam Williams on a countback.
Hereford Municipal’s mixed foursomes defeated visiting Tamworth 4-1 in the NAPGC Hawtree Competition.
Municipal reached the UK semi-finals of the competition last year and will be aiming to continue their impressive showing.
A team from Worcester won the Ladies Open Am Am at Burghill Valley.
Corinne Mills’ team took the top spot with an 82-point haul.
Sheila Glinos’ Burghill team were the runners-up after a 77-point return.
Chris Urry’s team were third on a countback from Chris Crane’s team after they both carded 76 points.
