BURGHILL & Tillington Cricket Club are looking forward to competing in Division 3 of the Crusader Worcestershire County League next season.
The Hereford outfit secured promotion from Division 4 South in their first season.
Burghill finished runners-up in their section.
They then won an end-of-season play-off against Stourbridge 3rd who were second in Division 4 North.
The villagers will join Herefordshire rivals Wormelow in Division 3.
Burghill skipper Neil Box said; “We are very happy to be at a good level and are quietly hopeful of competing in the top half of Division 3 next season.
“But we feel we need to recruit a couple of new faces to bolster our squad.”
In the play-off against Stourbridge at Tenbury Wells, Box won a crucial toss and chose to bowl on a seamer-friendly pitch.
Fine spells from Kingsley Morris (5-37), Matt Biggs (3-15) and Mike Pledge (2-11) helped to bundle out Stourbridge for 98.
Morris (37 not out) and Alex Hedges (28) scored 41 for the first wicket inside eight overs.
Although Wood took four wickets for Stourbridge, Morris held firm to steer Burghill to an emphatic six-wicket victory in difficult conditions.
