Pegasus Juniors 4 Milton United 0.
PEGASUS completed the final game of a disappointing FTL Futbol Hellenic League Premier Division home campaign with a comfortable victory against lowly Berkshire outfit Milton.
Juniors were soon in control and took a sixth-minute lead when Ben Price found Simon Gwynne with a pinpoint cross to the near post.
The diminutive striker tucked the ball away with a delicate glancing header.
Six minutes before half-time Price, who led the visiting left-back a merry dance, centred again for leading-scorer Chris Mortlock to beat the keeper with a header from near the penalty spot.
Despite long periods of dominance, Pegasus had to wait until the 82nd minute for a third goal when Anthony Robbins showed great persistence in regaining possession of an overhit cross to find Rob Laurie ghosting in with a bullet-like header from the edge of the area.
The scoring was completed in stoppage time when substitute Liam Jones latched on to a pass from Mortlock.
Steadying himself, he guided the ball into the far corner of the goal for a maiden Hellenic League goal to make it 4-0. Pegasus now have five away games to finish off the season.
