HEREFORD’S Tom Cousins has won an Inter-Counties Snooker Tournament in Kidderminster.
The Potting Shed man triumphed in the one-day competition which attracted players from Malvern, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
Cousins progressed through the group stage when a break of 83 helped him to a 3-1 win over Bewdley’s 15-year-old Andy Smith in the deciding match.
The 19-year-old then recorded an excellent 3-1 semi-final success against the dangerous Kevin Ellis from Kidderminster.
Cousins met Smith in the final and racked up breaks of 84 and 80 on his way to a 3-1 victory and, of course, the title.
