Wellington 2 Darlaston Town 0.
WELLINGTON got back to winning ways in the FTL Futbol West Midlands League Premier Division thanks to first-half goals from Andy Price and Wayne McNeil.
Wellington bossed the game from the start and Price headed over a Mike Craig corner before Aaron Morgan saw a shot flash wide of the goal as the home side looked to take the lead.
That was secured on 33 minutes when McNeill found Price on the edge of the box and he blasted the ball past the Darlaston keeper to open the scoring.
Wellington were given a great chance to double their advantage just before half-time when they were awarded a penalty, but Nick Panniers saw his spot-kick saved.
But only a minute later, Matt Williams’ cross was placed home by McNeill to make it 2-0.
