HEREFORD Cathedral School u-15 girls cricket side have reached the National Final at Lord’s after winning the Midlands heats at Edgbaston last Tuesday.
The girls won all three of their group games, beating Nottinghamshire 78-47, Warwickshire 88-29 and Leicestershire 64-61 to reach the semi-final where they were saw off Staffordshire 72-48.
They now head to Lord’s today (Thursday) to play representatives from the north, South and South West of England.
It is also a special occasion for coach Richard Skyrme who has played in indoor and outdoors finals at the ground. Now his daughter Chloe will be following in his footsteps as part of this year’s successful side.
