HEREFORD United are starting to prepare for life in League 2 after their season ended with defeat at home to Milton Keynes Dons last Saturday.
The Bulls will be making offers to current players they wish to keep at the end of this week. With only Toumani Diagouraga and Matt Done already under contract for next season, new boss John Trewick has plenty to do before completing his squad.
“From the information that we have, more than 800 players will be out of contract at the end of this season,” said chairman Graham Turner.
“It would be nice to get some settled early on but it may also be a case of keeping your powder dry.”
There is no progress yet on the vacant coaching position at Edgar Street.
“John has not yet decided on the line he wishes to follow,” said Turner.
