Lai, Fitz-Horswell and Probert then teamed with Nick Burden to win the J12 quads, coxed by Rhodri Morris, and Jack Jones and Charley Green won the J14 double sculls.
In the girls’ events, Megan Jephcote, Catrin Morris, Jess Crossman and Rosie Ingram were coxed by Zoe Smith to a silver medal in the J12 quads.
Junior captain John Lewis said: “For our first squad regatta I am delighted with the approach and application of the development squad. The quality of oarsmanship and support for each other throughout the day was a credit to the club.”
