WITH the county football season finally reaching its conclusion, all of the championship issues have now been settled in the various league programmes.
As previously reported, Westfields Reserves have carried off the Hereford Times Herefordshire League Premier Division title for the first time.
Further down the scale, Holme Lacy have been crowned Division 1 champions while the Division 2 battle went right to the wire with Leintwardine preventing Hampton Park Rangers from collecting successive titles, but only on goal difference.
Hinton Reserves, whose first-team also had a much-improved season, have taken the Division 3 title from Holme Lacy Reserves.
In the Jewson Herefordshire Sunday League, Vaga have been crowned Premier Division champions with Sinkum, making an impression in their first season in the top flight, taking runners-up spot.
Hay St Mary’s held off the challenge of Pencombe to win the Division 1 title while Barrels (see below) collected the Division 3 North honours.
In Division 3 South, Bulmers won 16 and drew the other two of their 18 games to win through.
