HEREFORD Whitecross Club left it to the last game of the season to clinch the Worcestershire League Division 2 squash title.
They confirmed their title in a closely-fought match against Redditch which Whitecross won 3-2.
Jack Bishop gave Whitecross a flying start with a 3-0 victory over Mike Davies but Whitecross were soon behind 2-1 when Dave Thompson and Dave Witts both lost.
Steve Hill evened the score with a 3-0 win over Steve Manley and Tommy Burton cruised to a convincing win 9/0, 9/2, 9/1 over Jeff Haines.
Whitecross gained 16 points to put them ahead of Stratford. Whitecross would like to thank Baker Tilley for their support during the season.
