A HEREFORD school’s pupils are on the right track for fitness after a visit from British sprint star Jamie Baulch.
Wales and Great Britain runner Baulch spoke to pupils, signed autographs and had his photograph taken with the children during his trip to Trinity School.
The athlete’s visit was part of the Super Schools’ programme which combines sporting stars, education, fitness and school fund-raising.
Baulch won gold in the 400 metres at the 1999 World Indoor Championships in Japan.
He also won silver medals in the 4x400 metres relay at both the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA, and the 1997 World Championships in Paris.
