THE scalp of a former international Test star could soon be on the CV of a Herefordshire cricketer.
A Herefordshire cricket club will have an opportunity to play against a star-studded Lashings World XI on Friday, August 21.
Colwall, who are hosting the day, are giving other clubs in the area the chance to face the likes of Chris Cairns, Devon Malcolm and John Emburey.
Clubs must book a table of 10 in the marquee which will give them entry into a competition to face Lashings.
There will be a play-off match prior to the main event against Lashings.
“Colwall have played the Lashings World XI many times before and we are now giving other clubs in the area a chance for the most fantastic match ever,” said Colwall chairman Gary King.
