SKIPPER Jonny Andrews scored a century to lead his Garnons side to a 149-run win at Herefordians in Division 1 of the GB Liners Marches League.
He made 118 before declaring the innings on 298-3, and the leaders then bowled the home side out for 149. The Joneses also featured prominently as Garnons retain top spot, with Alan claiming a half century and four wickets, while Sam made 83.
Andy Brown scored 79 to keep Goodrich in second place after a four-wicket home win over Woolhope. They scored 186-6 in reply to Woolhope’s 182-4. M Slocombe (76 not out) batted well for the losers.
Laurence Watts finished up unbeaten on 58 when Crickhowell beat travelling Bartestree & Lugwardine by five wickets, after restricting the visitors to 138-9.
David Morgan (69 no) did a similar job for Kington who successfully chased Glangrwyney’s 189-8 with two wickets to spare.
