HEREFORD Cathedral School finished third in the Girls’ National Cricket final at Lord’s.

The girls played some excellent cricket - winning two and losing two of their four matches.

Representing the Midlands, Cathedral beat the South West and Wales but lost to the South and eventual winners, the North.

The team had a tour of the cricket museum, the Long Room, the home dressing room and the media centre.

Cathedral results: The North 66, HCS 60 - lost by six runs; HCS 74, South West 50 - won by 24 runs; HCS 72, Wales 56 - won by 16 runs; South 54, HCS 28 - lost by 26 runs.
