SWIMMERS Sascha Kindred and Nyree Lewis have been selected to represent Britain at the IPC European Championships in Iceland.
The Hereford duo have been named in the 39-strong British Gas Disability team for the seven-day meet in October.
The Leominster Kingfishers pair will be hoping to take their first steps towards the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
National performance director Tim Reddish said: “This is the major meet of the year for our athletes and a step on in the beginning of our four-year cycle.
“This is the first major international meet for the athletes that competed in Beijing and I think it will be good test to see where we are in European Disability Swimming.”
The European Championships are taking place in Reykjavik from October 18 to 24.
