Presteigne 0 Llanfyllin 2 PRESTEIGNE had to give best to their rivals on the day as they slipped to their second defeat of the season.

Kieran Powis shot wide in the early stages and Steve Morgan had an effort saved before the visitors took the lead with a well-worked goal following a neat move.

Some poor defending 15 minutes from time left goalkeeper Scott Hodgetts with little chance of preventing the second Llanfyllin goal.

After that, Presteigne began to revive and Mike Symonds had a good effort saved.

Shaun Prince then produced a good turn and shot but his drive came back off a post and Adam Boots fired the rebound straight at the goalkeeper.

Presteigne Reserves lost 4-1 at Builth Wells in the Watson Associates Mid Wales League South. Glyn Williams scored the Presteigne goal.
