WESTSIDE suffered a narrow 42-36 defeat to Sparkhill from Birmingham in their fourth West Midlands Regional Netball League Division 2 match.
It was a closely contested match throughout as the teams seemed evenly matched but Westside were unable to settle or produce the standard of performance now expected of them.
Sparkhill then made a team change for the last quarter which saw a new goal-scorer at 6ft8in come on which allowed them to dominate the game.
Efforts from Kelly Stevens in the defensive circle saw her achieve player of the match for the second week running.
