POTTING Shed M are leading the way in Hereford Snooker League after a hard fought 3-2 win at WTC in the second week of matches.

Wins by Chris Evans, Ross Hood and Kay Richards put them on top.

Herodians followed up the previous week's win with another fine away performance, defeating Legionnaires 3-2 with James Falconer winning the decider.

Military B defeated clubmates Miller Boys 3-2, Neil Greening getting the all important third point after earlier wins by Pete Edwards and R Mann.

Conmen had an impressive 4-1 win at home to Flukey Few, despite losing the first frame. Bob Bradley and Lee Silcox both won close frames. Potting Shed Z beat Farmers B, the only surprise being Tom Cousins losing to Lee Wilson. Adrian Kiddner had a 43 break and Gareth Jones a 47 in their wins.

League newcomers Way off Cue got their season off to a winning start with a 3-2 decision over Potting Shed A, winning the first three frames before Tonto Williams and Dave Hantschar hit back.

George Evans won the important frame as Farmers A beat Reds.
