PRESTEIGNE retained their unbeaten record as they clinched the South Wales League Division Three title with a 6-2 win at Brecon.
The border club can now look forward to playing in Division Two next season.
As often before this season, Presteigne were grateful to a player-of-the-match performance from Jess Goodwin who hit a hat-trick.
Goodwin gave the visitors an early lead in just the third minute but then play was even for a phase with both sides having chances.
Brecon levelled the scores just before half-time and shocked the visitors when, after making a fine start to the second period, they took the lead three minutes in.
This seemed to spur Presteigne on and they got back on level terms with a second strike of the contest from Goodwin.
The visitors then moved into top gear and youngsters Ellie Williams and Charlie Morris both had good runs from both wings to score goals three and four for Presteigne.
Rita Tomkins soon made it five and Goodwin scored the final goal to complete her hat-trick and round off a memorable afternoon.
