HEREFORD Lads Club player-manager Danny Moon has described their upcoming tie with Haughmond in the FA Cup as “huge”.
Speaking as his side prepared for their first ever FA Cup game, Moon said it was great to be in the competition, it was just up to his side now to progress.
“Hopefully it looks like a good crowd and a chance for us to show what we can do,” Moon said.
“Haughmond will provide a challenge, they’re a really good team. They are stabilised at step five level, so it will be tough. But I do feel like we can win.”
Lads Club’s artificial surface could provide an advantage for the hosts, as Moon feels his side has a strong record due to their regular usage.
The tie against Haughmond will kick off at 3pm on Saturday.
