HEREFORD-raised runner Clara Evans will be representing Great Britain at the Olympic Games this weekend.
The 30-year-old has been drafted into the women’s marathon team after Charlotte Purdue suffered an ankle injury.
Evans impressed at the Commonwealth Games two years ago finishing ninth. The Olympic Games women’s marathon starts at 7am on Sunday.

BOWLS
Brimfield and Little Hereford bowlers will represent Herefordshire in both the ladies’ fours and the senior fours competitions.
Senior fours team Susan Northwood, Val Wilkinson, Eileen Powell and Jennie Cole and fours winners Helen Skinner, Sharon Mew, Jan Williams and Lynne Allen will both line up at the prestigious Leamington Spa tournament.
Brimfield’s men are also flying high - Ash Edwards and Nick Lewis will represent the county in the pairs and Nick’s dad Len will join them in the triples as well.
Brimfield’s Jennie Cole will be Herefordshire’s representative in the two wood singles.
The finals start on August 15 and run for two weeks.
