FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a nine-year-old boy from a roof in Hereford yesterday. The youngster was brought down from a property in Ross Road at 9am. It is not known what he was doing up there.

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire at a south Herefordshire farm yesterday. Two crews from Ross-on-Wye were called to Glebe Farm, How Caple at 1.45am. The fire involved a large pile of wood and was put out.
